The 3rd International Numismatic Conference

COINS AND MONEY CIRCULATION IN THE MONGOL STATES
OF THE 13-15 CENTURIES

will be held on 3-9 of October 2004 in Stary Krym (Ukraine).

The Organizing Committee kindly invites you to take part in the Conference
and deliver your papers on one of the related topics.

      The main purpose of this conference is raising the activity of professional and amateur numismatists and coordinating their efforts in the further development of investigations in the field of medieval Mongol numismatics in order to make the branch a full-size complex source for the reconstruction of historical events.

Terms and Conditions
  1. The Conference is to be held in Stary Krym, Crimean Peninsula (Ukraine).
  2. Staying in one of the pension houses in Stary Krym with full board.
  3. The subsequent publication of all delivered papers is provided (in Russian and English; in case of other languages, French and German are most preferable).
  4. The cultural programme will include visiting museums and fascinating sites of the Crimean Peninsula.
  5. Sale and exchange of numismatic literature is provided.
  6. Applications may be submitted now by e-mail ppn@zmail.ru to the attention of Pavel N. Petrov.
  7. Please do not forget to advise the title of your report!

Principal Requirements to the Submitted Papers (envisaging their subsequent print)
  1. Text volume should not exceed 7 standard pages (not counting pictures and photo tables) in MS Word format, font size 10, interlineage Single.
  2. The texts in Arabic or other oriental scripts (when needed) should be inserted into the main text as pictures, not as font setting.


      Joint Proceedings of the 1st (Saratov 2001) and the 2nd (Murom 2003) Conferences will be published by Spring 2004.
